In this forum, you can join "Quick-play" matches, where you can win small cash prizes. These matches won't be hosted by an "LMSO" member, so it is important that competitors contact us with the results of matches.
How Does It Work?
1. Finding a Match
To find a match, just view the “Unranked PS3” forum, and look for an upcoming match that interests you. Our Unranked section can include lots of different games, so you should have a lot to choose from.
When you have seen a match that interests you, click on the relative thread to see the rules of the match, and how many players are needed etc.
2. Applying to take part in a match
To apply to take part in the match, just simply click on the “Reply” button within the thread. You MUST give your PSN (Playstation 3 Username) within your reply, you may also type some banter or ask questions within your reply too.
An Admin or Moderator will then update the thread to show that you have taken one of the spaces for the match.
Please be aware that applying for matches is done on a First Post Rule. If there is one space left for a match, and two people have applied for the final space, whoever’s post is displayed first will get the final spot.
3. Match Host
Whilst applying to take part in a match, you can also state that you would like to be the match’s Host. This is also done via the First Post Rule.
Please note that the Host has the responsibility of adding all the required players, so we want trustworthy people to be the host of matches.
If The Host does not add everyone, and plays the match without the missing players, then we will either refund the players not involved, or re-arrange the match.
4. Match Times
For Most Matches, LMSO will provide a time for the match within the thread. So if the match is on a day and/or time that isn’t suitable for you, please do not apply to take part.
Sometimes we may not issue a time for the match, so it will be upto the players to decide on a time to play the match. This is to be discussed in the match's thread. 5. Paying
Once a player has applied for a position in a match, an Admin or Moderator will send a paypal link to the player, either by Email or PM (Private Message within the Forums) where the payment will be ready to be processed. All the player will have to do is log-into their account and then proceed with the payment.
After paying, it is recommended that players leave a comment during the transaction (Or via PM) to say they have paid, this way we can easily see who has and hasn't paid.
6. Play The Match
When the Day and Time arrives, Sign in on your console, and wait for the Host to add you (Hopefully they would have added you before the day of the match arrives) Make sure you accept their Invitation!
Play the match, and do your best!
Remember, Banter is acceptable, but Racism, Discrimination and any other abuse is not.
7. Report The Winner
We want all players to report back to us (Via Email or PM to the Admin: “Lmso”) Whether you were the winner or loser, we must have all players to tell us the outcome of the match, this way we can be sure as to who won the match.
8. Receive Your Prize
If you won the match, or finished in any other position that earns a prize, and the other players can verify this, then you will receive your cash prize via “Paypal” within a few days.
Players won't get paid until a clear winner has been named by ALL players involved.
